Full stack software developer

I build web and mobile applications, mostly React and React Native on the front with Node.js, Express and PostgreSQL behind them. I like the parts of the job where some messy real world process turns into something people can actually use.

Day to day I'm a full stack developer at Allwater Marine Group, where I led the migration of our mobile app from .NET MAUI to React Native and mentor a junior developer. I also build web and mobile apps through JunePoint Software.

Before software I towed boats as an assistant captain and rehabilitated wildlife, which is a longer story than this page has room for. For fun I study Japanese (N3), French and Spanish, and I'm usually building something odd on the side, like the 3D and Windows 95 versions of this same portfolio.
